W204 NTG 4 audible navigation instructions: "railroad crossing ahead", etc.
Hi folks,

I have a 2011 W204 C200 with Comand NTG 4. It has Japanese maps installed (I haven't figured out how to change the Navigation to English, yet).

As I'm driving the vehicle frequently warns me of "railroad crossing ahead", "s-curve ahead", "left turn ahead", "right turn ahead", etc. and it's getting a bit tedious. These warnings are announced in English over the car stereo.

I've found a US version of the Comand manual online but can't see any mention of these warnings or how to turn them off.

Any ideas?
