2006 ML350 4Matic W164 driver door switch issues
Good day everyone.
I joined here in search of some help with my 2006 ML350 (VIN Number - WDC1641862A024617)
I changed the battery a few days back and since then, the door switches on the driver door, including the switch to open the tailgate door are not working. The lock/unlock buttons are working however. All the other doors window switches are working perfectly fine.
I plugged in the iCarsoft and used the actuation menu to test all the functions on the driver door and they are working perfectly fine. window goes up and down, measurements are showing on voltage and window position as per normal. I de-normalized and normalized the window as well but nothing seems to get the switches to work. I noticed that the little red light on the tailgate door switch and the lightning under the mirror/window switches are also dead.
Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated, as i do not want to just throw money at a new master switch unit of the problem lies somewhere else.
