Which models and years came with which Burmester systems?
I'm basically looking for the highest end system in the cheapest car, but I have noticed it seemed to change over time.
Right now for example the only E-Series that can be optioned with a "High-End" system is the "High-End 3D" system in the E53 AMG Sedan, otherwise you have to go with a GT or up.
When I was looking at a C43 back in 2018 (I ended up with a Camaro SS 1LE) each class had a different system IIRC, C-Class had one, E-Class had a little better and the S-Class had an even better and then the option of the 4D, but now it looks like the system optional in the A and C-Classes and standard in most E-Classes is all the same 590w system? And non have the option for the High-End system except the S-Class and the E53.
Were the E63's or E43's ever available with these systems? I'm looking for a used one and while it's easy to identify a Burmester system from the speaker grills I'm thinking it's going to be very hard to find a used E-Class equipped with the "High-end 3D" system, how do you tell this system from the base system?
I'm wondering when the C-Class switched from the 710w optional system to the 590w system
Also wondering when the E-Class added the 590w system as standard underr the 1450w system because that's what it had before correct?
