2023 GLS vs 2024 GLS Standard Burmester Audio
I was perusing the MY23 GLS Order Guide and comparing against the MY24 GLS Order Guide and noticed an oddity for the standard Burmester audio offering. According to pg 18 of 19 in the OG, the standard Burmester audio includes VNC and support for multi-channel formats (which I confirm is true when I tested my MCH FLAC files via USB on the test drive for a MY23). However, in the same location on the MY24 OG, the standard Burmester is noticeably missing both VNC and MCH audio support and instead has been given to the upgraded 3D package 811.
As I don't have a MY24, can someone confirm that the standard 810 package doesn't play MCH FLAC files via USB?
Is this epidemic across the mid-cycle refresh of other Mercedes models as well?
