W211 Aftermarket headunit. No sound from Amp.
I have this particular issue where i can’t get any sound from the side of the Amp. I had the Audio 50 APS and is using an optical fiber decoder, i can see the light travel from both sides. I have measured voltage to the amp and it has 12V on 2 of the 4 connectors. Im not 100% sure which goes to which tho.
my suspicion was the “Amp Controll” wiring for the headunit was wrong but now im not sure they’re even correlated.
There is NO sound at all being made.
-Yes the radio works after testing with an external speaker.
- I have replaced the OFD once in suspicion of an defect.
Anyone who has any ideas that i can try is greatly appreciated. Because I’m all out😅.

I think you have to troubleshoot the fiber one step at a time. I had the same issue and the fiber loop I bought wasn't working so that made troubleshooting difficult. I got the "Mercedes" clip that was like 2 bucks and that works to troubleshoot.
