Mbrace in 2018 or Older

Mbrace in 2018 or Older
I heard that Mbrace was discontinued at the end of 2022. If you had MBrace (not Mercedes Me or Mercedes Me Connect) in a 2018 or earlier model, is it still working?

Nope; it does not work any more. I have a 2007 I ordered new in 2007 and had purchased a 'for life' subscription to MBrace. So much for the 'for life' disabling it; ok had use of it for 15 years no doubt.

That depends. The platform itself hasn't been discontinued, but several of the individual services have, such as Live Traffic. The bigger issue is that the majority of cars that use mBrace have 3G cellular radios and the 3G networks are no more in the USA, so they all lost connectivity. Some of the models shortly prior to the cutover in 2019 to Mercedes me connect have LTE, such as the W213 and W222 for example, and those still have service.

I guess I should just be jealous that MB Canada didn't have any (like at all) remote connectivity until Mercedes Me Connect rolled out in 2019 while MUBSA had mBrace.
