new integrated phone system for US cars
my dealer told me to hold off on the v60 integrated phone because something is coming in Jan of 05. she said she thought it was bluetooth and a tech said it was just another system but with better phones.
does anyone have any insight to what's coming next for us? i was using a v60 several years back and since most of the US is switching from TDMA to GSM, i'm sure some of the technology has to change pretty soon.
i don't mind having two phones and just forwarding one to the car when i'm in it, but i do mind having to keep address books in sync, etc. so anything i can do to keep my phones the same brand, or in sync with MS Outlook would be great.
i just want to plan ahead and i'd love to not have to use headgear or my actual phone while driving my new car.
any rumours are welcome....
