Rain sensor constant power

I have a 2018 GLS550 and recently hooked up a dash cam from Mercylion. It connected to the rain sensor power and is supposed to power off when the car is off but thats not happening. The company claims the sensor does not support acc detection, which is wild because they should disclose this before selling a product. Does anyone know if this is fact, does the rain sensor receive constant power, even when the car is off. Does anything change if the car is locked vs unlocked?

Any help is appreciated.

so you may have found the answer, I just connected a FITCAMX in my GLS, to the rainsensor power. what I have seen is the accessory power stays on for a minute or 2 after shutting down, even after opening the door, but then will shutoff shortly after. opening the door turns the power back on also. It turns the power on to the USB ports in the arm rest for me as well. I know this from testing my baby cam that is plugged into the armrest USB. it stays on for a while after you shutdown the car, and then turns back on anytime you open the door.
