Car Play disappeared after code scan
did an oil change and brake job on my 2017 GLS 550. after putting my brakes in service mode with my Launch Creader elite 2.0, I decided to look around and there was a button that just said carplay, and of course me being the curious one, I pressed it! It just sat there said reading code or something. Then errored out. Command reset and Carplay was gone.
Updated the Creader and when I hooked it back up the Carplay button on the creader was gone. Any thoughts?
I have an early 2017 so it only has carplay and I use a carlinkit 4 to convert to android auto.
Any thoughts on how to get it back.
Also if I went to a wrecker that has a 2018 GLS 550, which would have both CarPlay and AA, and bought the command unit from that, what kind of coding would need to be done? I doubt it is plug and play.
