W213 Intermittent sound
Hi,
Im experiencing sound issues with the Infotainment system in my 2017 W213 E Class.
Sometimes, but not always, when I stream music or podcasts etc my iPhone 11 connects via Bluetooth, but when the sound transfers from the iPhone I get nothing coming through via the Infotainment although the display seems to indicate it’s working.
Music tracks will show as playing but there is no sound at all. Another time I’ll stream music from my phone and it works just fine.
At first I thought it was because my other iPad device was interfering with the Bluetooth but it’s not that. I. Not really sure what to do. All the software is up to date. Can anyone suggest what the problem might be and potential resolutions. TIA.

I have similar problem at times with an android device. When it is not working, sometimes increasing volume on MBux or on my phone solves the problem, don't know why. Other times reconnecting helps.

Thanks. I’ve tried the volume buttons but none of it seems to help. It’s just very random when it does and doesn’t work..very frustrating. Similarly disconnecting and reconnecting makes no difference.
