CD player skipping, solutions???
I have a factory Bose '99 E430, trunk mounted 6 disc changer. Just a couple months ago started skipping on a few tracks. These same CD's do not skip in other players. And it's not on all CD's. I even just bought the new U2 CD, it was fine for a while now skips all over the place.
Has nothing to do with vibration or physical movement of car.
I have bought a CD cleaner from Radio Shack, seemed to help out but not solve.
Any suggestions for diagnosis or other comments? Need help, very annoying!!!

It sounds like you need to run the CD cleaner a few more times, the read laser is probably quite dusty.
If you used burnt CD's with peel & stick labels, the glue sometimes dries out and get spread around inside CD drives.
