Dension describes the Gateway devices as "Ice Link Gateway ...."

I just bought one from http://www.ipodcarkitdirect.co.uk/
They shipped immediately, with fedex I had it in 3 days from Great Britain to Seattle and their support is astounding. Densions is slow slow, but these guys answer knowledgeably right away, (take into account the time difference) I send a question at 10pm and at 7:00am I have the answer. I have sent at least 5 questions, all answered correctly. I will be doing a post on the install in a few days.

I bought the Gateway 500. I currently have Bluetooth phone and iPod functionality. ipod playlists and song information on nav screen and steering wheel volume and song change. I am working on video out but that may not be supported. I have a ticket into Dension on that.
I had it installed because the Benz dash is over my head, but the connections themselves are super simple. It is getting access to power and running the mic wire I did not want to tackle.

The C-Class (W203) went to MOST bus in model year 2005. Your newer W204 C-Class should be MOST-equipped.
However, I do not know whether the Gateway 500 is compatible with head units or COMANDs in Asian specification cars (if that is what you have) cars. It may be best to query Dension through its main website, http://www.dension.com/main.htm to be sure. It fits fine in European and U.S. specification cars.

C230 W204 with C63 Kit Package
The website says that it only fits for 2004-2007 MOST C-Class. Where you get confirmation that it fits W204 European and US? I checked midcityengineering, they said W204 version not available yet(?). My COMAND is retrofitted European spec.

Sorry I was not clearer; I should have said I don't know if it fits Asian specification cars (at all), or the W204. It does fit all U.S. and European specification MOST bus equipped C-Classes through the 2007 model year. Dension would still be the people to contact to find out what their future plans are regarding the newer audio systems from '08 on.

praveen, I believe I have suggested to you before that you check the Dension website. There is a compatibility chart on the site that will tell you which Gateway 500 unit goes with which model year car, and has comments concerning incompatibilities. I believe you will find the unit works with the Audio 20, but you will not have song title readout on either your instrument cluster or the Audio 20. The writeup I gave you before at http://www.benzworld.org/forums/audi...st2376586.html deals principally with MOST units, but contains information about the D2B units as well.
