Anyone hear anything about the MB Motorola A710 release date. I know it keeps getting pushed out. Any updates?

yep, got it . . . however my NEW question was, does anyone have any UPDATED NEW news. Being Jan., wanted to see if anyone has seen any communication from MB on actual release date.

No, the status is the same as two weeks ago, these are still expected to ship at the end of January, several weeks from now, to start filling the backorder for these phones.

Interesting how some people will spend more time scolding others for asking a repeat question or not doing a search than just being helpful and taking the same amount of time to anwer the question. Just an observation. Anyway...

While you reference an A710 phone, I was told by my dealer on Tuesday that the cradle for the V710 (Verizon) is showing in stock and orderable, but the phone itself is still not available. I instructed my dealer to order me the cradle so that if/when the V710 phone is available, I will already have the cradle and won't risk it being back ordered at that time. I will be following up with my dealer tomorrow and update this if anything changes.

Well... again... answering questions multiple multiple multiple times makes the search feature less effective. May as well just remove it, delete archives, and start answering the same questions over and over.

The UPDATED news I got today is that the V710 should be available in February. Doesn't look like it will make it by January.

Interestingly, the V600 was available before the cradle. With the V710, the cradle is before the handset.

My 2 cents is that everyone needs to lighten up. It is suppose to be a board of help not hassles. Don't understand how a simple question gets so many people mad. Relax.
Once again, I asked for and updated release date because it seems to change everyday. Sorry for posting a question!

A step in the right direction (I hope). My dealer has in their possession a V710 cradle with my name on it. Now we'll see how much longer the phone takes!

I had a dream that that V600/V710 phone will work in my 2004 SL R230, and then I woke up.

So I am stuck with a Verizon V60S. Dealer told me if I installed any phone kit that is not approved by MBUSA, the warranty on the Command would be voided. But a dealer that is 200 miles away said they would help me with any non-MB phone/kits.

Yeah I've had that for a while. That's how I know a non-MB V710 won't work. I also had the V600 long before I had the cradle. These guys are logistics geniuses, obviously.
