W140 Head Unit Upgrade
Need to upgrade my w140 head unit with a CD/XM/MP3 type system and was hoping someone could help me.
I talked to a stereo installer and he'll have to bypass amps and the bose will lose quality etc. And there's no way i'm doing that.
So i've done some research and found nice Becker Monza headunit. Since it's the same manufacturer as stock headunit i'm thinking it'll plug right in no problems. Anyone know if this is true?
Also could i put an Audio 10 FM/CD in a 1997 S320 without hassle?

Did the installer give a reason to bypass the amps? I don't think that's necessary.
An Audio 10 cd player or Becker Monza will fit & work easly. No modifications needed. Only caveat is an OEM changer is not compatible with the Audio 10 or Monza. And the Monza allows aux input so you can connect an external ipod or similar.
