Can a quality audio system be installed and used with COMAND?

Can a quality audio system be installed and used with COMAND?

Or should I have just went all aftermarket?

I love the COMAND but after driving my car more it needs lots of work in the sound department. I know that factory units are not exactly ideal but can anything be built around the COMAND?

...what I did once on a 1998 W210 E55 with Bose sound is swpping the analogue Bose amp for a digital Bose amp that was slightly modified and has 2 line outs for a second amp to feed additional subs...

Yeah its possible, check out my sound domain pics... I did it with a MCS module... The CD changer is mounted under my drivers seat(no pictures of that)
