Replacing Phone Cradle with Nokia 6310
Hi, I was hoping someone here could help me.
I bought my car (2003 SL55) with this fixed phone wired up.
I need to replace it with the Nokia 6310i cradle which I have purchased.
The problem is, as you can see, I can only find an input for one connector (the one circled in red) and cannot find where to connect the other cable (circled blue).
The phone and cradle will not work when only the one lead is connected into the only input i can find:

You have a "fixed phone installation". There is a lot more stuff in the shelf under the front seat that goes along with the fixed phone.
What you will need to do is replace the wiring harness from the armrest to the trunk with the proper one for your Nokia 6310i cradle. This will have both connectors (electrical and the antenna, which you are missing now). Then the other end of the harness (well there are more than two "ends" but two "major" ends) will go to the PSE (controller module) under the rear center console and antenna lead in the back seat/trunk area. You will also need a new PSE (controller module) for the 6310i as well.
