Amp/Sub install
does anyone know how to route my power wire from the batter into the interior thorugh the firwall? specifically for the clk320 year 2000? i'm planning on buying an amp and sub and need to know how to wire them... thanks!

ok after some thinking... i realized that the battery is in the trunk.. perfect! as thats where i'm gonna put subs in.... but then another question come up in my mind... how do u take out the HU? i pulled out the black plastic single DIN thing under the HU b4 and i cannot seem to find anything that releases the HU? any ideas?

yes it is my frist install... but i am confident enough to wire things properly... just need to know how to take out the HU w/o breaking the interior... i did work at 2 audio installation place as a career prep student for 2 weeks. so i should a thing or 2...

alright thanks for ur help... but i've managed to pull the deck out with some tools and not breaking anything.... now the hard part... anyone has wiring diagrams? i've searched the net googleds it and nothing comes up.... the model is CM 1910... it's for a CLK320 year 2000... thanks!
and also... jello2594... if i ain't wrong.... benz b4 2003/04 don't come with fiber optics... only 04 and after uses fiber optics... and i alos managed to pull out the deck w/o any of those MB keys...

OK, I'll apologize for being a jerk in the posts I made to your queries, but...
Seriously.. you need to go to a stereo installation place.. You're asking a question with every step of the installation. After you get a wiring diagram, are you going to post a question about cutting the wires? Then a post about running wires the trunk? Perhaps, after that, a post about how to set the gain on your amplifier?
Honestly, you didn't need to take out your head unit. If you wanted, you could have spliced off the speaker wires in the trunk area for your rear speakers... does you car have speakers in the rear deck lid?
