XM for 1995 SL320 Alpine radio
I have the original Alpine MB AM/FM cassette with the CD button in my dash. How do I connect a XM satellite module with a display unit into my radio?
I have seen some aftermarket kits that are very reasonable at some stores lately.I know how to remove my radio, ect. My Bose Acoustimass system sounds very good and I would love to hear satellite music from this sytem if I can. Thanks for any help.

E 63S Wagon Renntech, E55 Renntech, SL65, SL 55 030, ML, bunch of old ones--they come, they go...
That one's going to be sort of a pain...
as that head unit and amp combo in your car doesn't lend itself to any peripherals or modifying. You've got an amp on a separate chassis, and a sub, and doing the XM or Sirius on a modulator insn't gonna co-operate real well with that setup. Even if it does, still got the issue of where you're going to put the contorl unit, as there's not a great place in that body style 129. Just gotta decide how much you like the sat radio. Don't leave this job to just any car hi-fi hack....
