After market sound system install on '03 c240 with bose
hey guys,
I'm new to the forum, and although almost everyone here is going to think I'm insane, I am trying to install the Pioneer AVH-P4300 HU, one Alpine Type-R 12" sub, and a Boss Phantom 1500W amp in my '03 C240 sedan. I warn you I have almost no experience with this, however I'm just looking for tech advice for the install. I'm having alot of trouble removing the stock stereo receiver first of all. I understand that I need to remove the vents on the dash about the HU then remove the ashtray and all that, but I don't know how.
Also, I was wondering about the best way to run the wiring to the trunk.
Being a newbie to this, I'll def. be needing very detailed advice, and if there is already a thread with info on this exact install please save your time and direct me to it.
I appreciate any help in advance.
Sean
