Are the February rates for the CLK correct?

I spoke with my dealer and the rates he showed me for the CLKs were different. The MF for the coupes were lower and the cabs were higher. All the other MFs alligned.

They changed mid month. Here is the updated:

Mercedes Lease Rates and Residuals – Effective 02/15/2006

2006 MODELS

These lease rates are for reference only and may vary by region. The dealer does not have to offer you these rates. It’s always best to compare other lease programs through other sources such as LeaseCompare.com.

Add 2% to Residual Value for 12k mi/yr and 3% for 10k mi/yr on all terms

CLK Class 2dr Convertible CLK350

24 mo/15k mi – Residual Value 72% of MSRP – .00350 Base Money Factor Rate
36 mo/15k mi – Residual Value 62% of MSRP – .00300 Base Money Factor Rate
48 mo/15k mi – Residual Value 53% of MSRP – .00300 Base Money Factor Rate
60 mo/15k mi – Residual Value 45% of MSRP – .00360 Base Money Factor Rate

CLK Class 2dr Convertible CLK500

24 mo/15k mi – Residual Value 68% of MSRP – .00350 Base Money Factor Rate
36 mo/15k mi – Residual Value 59% of MSRP – .00300 Base Money Factor Rate
48 mo/15k mi – Residual Value 50% of MSRP – .00300 Base Money Factor Rate
60 mo/15k mi – Residual Value 41% of MSRP – .00360 Base Money Factor Rate

CLK Class 2dr Convertible CLK55

24 mo/15k mi – Residual Value 65% of MSRP – .00410 Base Money Factor Rate
36 mo/15k mi – Residual Value 56% of MSRP – .00360 Base Money Factor Rate
48 mo/15k mi – Residual Value 47% of MSRP – .00360 Base Money Factor Rate
60 mo/15k mi – Residual Value 38% of MSRP – .00360 Base Money Factor Rate

CLK Class 2dr Coupe CLK350

24 mo/15k mi – Residual Value 67% of MSRP – .00210 Base Money Factor Rate
36 mo/15k mi – Residual Value 57% of MSRP – .00160 Base Money Factor Rate
48 mo/15k mi – Residual Value 48% of MSRP – .00160 Base Money Factor Rate
60 mo/15k mi – Residual Value 40% of MSRP – .00360 Base Money Factor Rate

CLK Class 2dr Coupe CLK500

24 mo/15k mi – Residual Value 65% of MSRP – .00210 Base Money Factor Rate
36 mo/15k mi – Residual Value 55% of MSRP – .00160 Base Money Factor Rate
48 mo/15k mi – Residual Value 46% of MSRP – .00160 Base Money Factor Rate
60 mo/15k mi – Residual Value 38% of MSRP – .00360 Base Money Factor Rate

You can use the following formula to calculate a lease payment:

(Capitalized Cost – Residual Value) / Term = Monthly Depreciation
(Capitalized Cost + Residual Value) X Money Factor = Monthly Interest
Monthly Depreciation + Monthly Interest = Base Monthly Payment

Hi Tarry,

I was wondering if you could chime in on this one. I'm going to lease a 2006 clk350 coupe. The dealer is offering 2000 under invoice with 2000 in incentives. The drive off fees will be 795 acq and taxes only. The MF and residual is inline in what you posted. So is this a good enough deal? Thanks

The pricing seems pretty good. You may want to compare lease rates on LeaseCompare.com as the MBC ones look high.

The deal w/ the '06 CLK fell through since they wanted me to pay $600 in IPG or their advertising cost. I thought this was BS when they said everyone pays it. Is this customary? I thought the 795 for acq fee was high already when competitors such as bmw and audi are 695, 595.

The residual also went down 1% for March but a MF quote of 1.45% which was unexpected since it's lower then the posted.
