is this a good price/deal?...
I found an '04 cl55 in absolutely impeccable condition, 28k miles, The only issue is it was a mnfgr buyback for cell phone and tire pressure monitor issues. MB has since fixed the issue, and re -certified it to its original warranty(not to 100k). I can pick it up for 65k. It came from california, not texas BTW.

Sounds pretty good as long as the original warranty is in tact.
You may want to run a TitleCheck/CarFax on it to see if it still shows up as a branded since this could adversely affect the resale value.

Thanks-I actually did do that and it did show up..... the dealer was very open about it, though. They did say it wouldn't affect the resale value because MB re -warrantied it (from original date)

"well, you got a lemon car... this is our final offer... 50% of market values for non-lemon cars.... that's the best we could do as we know no one out there would buy this from you"
In short.... never buy a lemon car unless you want to drive it until it dies (shouldn't be that long for MB 
).
