I know this has been asked before...
I ordered mine way back in January, and will be taking delivery later this month. The good thing about ordering is that it's exactly the way you want. The bad thing is... it's exactly the way you want, which, in my estimation, weakens your negotiating ability with the dealer.
Now, when I ordered the car, I had pretty much figured I'd be paying MSRP. And I'm still prepared to do so. But if there's some $$ I can trim off, it'll help subsidize the wheels I'm going to put on.
So, a couple questions...
1) Outside of dealers like Glauser, is anyone getting any $$ off from MSRP? Or maybe getting things thrown in more readily (service, mats, discount on accessories, etc.)?
2) I understand the likelihood of the dealer giving me credit for them keeping the 18" rims is about nil. So, if I were to put rims on through the dealer, do they residualize those on a lease, or would I essentially be paying full price for them?
Thanks for your help!
Here is something to compare with what the dealer is offering:
