DTC P029921

DTC P029921
Hi Everyone,
Recently I bought a MB B200 Auto 2015 model from an auction.
On driving back home, I observed low engine power, and upon reaching home while checking for any OBD2 scan codes, it threw me the following. Out of which, I believe P029921 is the main reason I am getting low engine power.
Can anyone please advise which could be the reason for it? Is it the whole Turbo assembly or just a part of it? I checked for any vacuum leaks but couldn't find any (I may be wrong!).
Thanks in advance for your support.
Cheers
Mayank

I suspect the same- Wastegate actuator is a very common issue in these engines especially in a warmer environment- its summer here in Australia.
also, when i tracing the part number written on existing wastegate actuator it appears that its an aftermarket replaced part. Tomorrow/dayafter i will try to actuate it by vacuuming externally and will update.
Much appreciate for your support mate!
cheers

Update- resolved
I tested the wastegate actuator using vacuum hand pump- no issues
i tested the solenoid and it was Normally Open all the times. Cleaned using pressurised air and put it back- started working all good!
finally the Wastegate actuator is in sync with rpm.
