I do hope that they bring in the B and the CDI would really be great for someone like my husband who drive 25-30k miles a year.
Looked at several cars and found the driving position and comfort second to none. Sedans are boring. Smoothest Auto transmission ever and power to spare. Car is a 2007 B200 turbo and gets great fuel consumption. Lots of hills and mountains in British Columbia and car never labours.

6553 of the B Classes have been imported to Canada in two years, so it is selling very well, closing in on the Canadian C Class sales volumes.

The C class wagon is tiny inside. I cannot set the front seat in a C Class to fit me and then get in the rear seat behind. Even getting my feet in the rear door and into the footwell is nearly impossible, and I am only 6'3" and 220 lbs. Because I have tall kids, the C Class (sedan and wagon) were eliminated on that point alone. Think of the C as a 2+2, at best, unless your family members are all small and short.

So the B has more legroom, more headroom, wider rear doors, easier ingress/egress, 2.5" longer wheelbase, greater cargo capacity, better fuel economy and equal quality to the C wagon. The B is built in Rastatt, not far from the Rhine.

Fast forward 17+ years - different username but same person - we still have the 5 speed B 200, 355,000 km, original clutch, engine burns no oil, original gearbox. It was a decent enough car that we have decided to order another Mercedes, this time a GLC 350e.
