Hello.
I am on the lookout for a reasonable B-class around model 2012. All the cars I look at has regular cruise control, but I can't see any with the adaptive cruise control. Is it called something else on the B-class or did it first come with a later model?
Vin number for a car I'm currently looking at WDD2462001J054632, maybe someone can tell if this one has it if it goes under a different name on these cars?

 

Not sure where you are located but the B200 ended in 2011 and the B250 started again in 2015 models. If you are looking at purchasing a used vehicle, you will need to look far and wide since not many people who purchase B-Classes purchase all features for the cars. If you are looking for Active Cruise control which in the Mercedes worlds is called "Distronic Plus", then hopefully you find someone that spent the money.

 

That's only true for the Canadian market. You can buy a brand new B200 in Europe today.

 

White with brown leather and walnut trim panel for dash... very very nice. The datacard below lists option code 440 TEMPOMAT (CRUISE CONTROL). This is the standard cruise control. The Adaptive cruise control is called Distronic.

What? Really? You can purchase a new B200 and not a B250 as the updated car and design?

 

The difference between B200 and B250 is the engine size. The difference between the W245 model code and W246 model code is what you see as the old and new body style. In Canada the W245 model code was only available in a B200, and the W246 body code was only available in a B250, hence the confusion.

They now have a W247 which came out in 2019 in the European market, and is available in 3 diesel and 4 gasoline variants from B180 up to B250.
