I don't understand this either. Can't you use your email exchange? Can't you use your pics, MBW ad, etc.

Something is missing in this equation.

I sent Paypal a copy of all the emails we exchanged and PM's as well as links to the photos I posted, and his new ad for the (same?) rims. Paypal sided with me-he filed a claim with the CC company and I lost that.
Working at a co that takes 400+ CC payments a day-they almost ALWAYS side the the consumer.
I've contacted the local court and am starting to file a small claims.
Brain Damage.

I find it greatly unfortunate that the moderators allow this to continue. There is a high road and low road in this issue. The moderators should be taking note here as this poster has chosen to do his dirty laundry and slanderous accusations going as far as name calling, posting personal information etc. I am amazed a moderator has not closed this posting. I chose not to create a forum here to give my side and start a discussion which has no right to continue.

I can see how it is easy to take sides, especially when it is a one sided rant of another forum member. This is a conversation that should be taken place off the forum, right moderators?

Mods, this should not continue...

Then defend yourself, prove OP that his claims are false, and then mods will close the thread.

Look at post #5 - Thread still exists.
If you are a victim here then you should not have any problems providing us with your story and the according proof, but up to this point you seem to lack that which is not in your favor.

Keep us updated rockjock

he still has my rims and has his money back. I love the US and credit card companies. The money isnt the issue-niether are the rims-its the "holyer then thou" attitude that a tool in Ohio has towards other members on here.
I agree with the others-post up your side Greg and let the inpartials determine who's wrong.

Michael (rockjock)

Once again, your ego has gotten the best of you. The whole reason why this happened is, you.

Fellow members, please listen up since everyone feels this is the appropriate venue to make a judgement call:

You were evasive when questions were asked as to the condition of the rims. When I received them, what I had suspected would be an issue turned out to be the case. Without getting into the details of the rims, You avoided answering these questions thinking some fool would not notice. Well, michael you were wrong and your inability to take them back at the time which you are now requesting is why we are in this pickle.

For the record, you had an employee from your place of business contact me requesting personal information. Totally uncalled for unacceptable behavior. That is why your management received a call. You took a s*#t where you eat.. Also, using my email to open up **** site accounts is way over the top..

I am sure we could work something out, just get your ego in check...

To be honest, I am not looking for anyone to side with me. Feedback forum is for feedback. But if you want another side, there it is..

btw, 'holier than thou'

Now signing out. This post may not be closed but it is for me..

The real question is: Are you going to return his money or his wheels? If not, that's called theft, and you could easily go to jail.

So, Greg, you bought rims that you didnt want? (And I still stand behind that you resold my rims to another member on here).
Yep, I had someone from my place of work call your phone to verify it was yours-and yes, you called my branch manager (who didnt care that I did that after I explained the situation from him). I also posted public info about where you live, and what you paid for your hosue, and when (want your tax info here too? thats avail on line). And yep, I signed your dumbass up email account up for spam porno email.
I have little to hide Greg. you're a tool.
And sure, my ego is big-who the **** cares? Like many others here have posted-defend why you still have your money and my rims?
If you want Greg, (with your permission) I'd be more then happy to post the PM's we've shared that took place prior to the transaction-that should def clear the air, no?

Doesnt matter what happens, but keeping one's money and the item is just called theft. The buyer should have offered something to work things out if he didnt like the rims or if they were not in the condition described.

Damn, that's why I never accept credit cards for anything. One thief's fraudulent chargeback can do some serious damage.

I shipped something once to a guy who paid cash, but I had some premonition about the guy and paid a couple bucks extra for insurance. He emails me a month later and says the thing arrived damaged (which happens a lot these days with UPS employing Samsonite gorillas). No worries mate, it's fully insured. So I tromped down to the store and got the claim paperwork, spent time digging up an old receipt, blah blah blah. UPS goes to the guy's house 3 times trying to inspect the damage. He'd never open the door, and the last time he slipped and opened it, only to slam the door shut when he realized it was UPS again. Total scam.

I purchased a set of C55 rims from rockjock. Had a terrible time trying to work out an arrangement with the seller.

The rims showed up and there was 3 different finishes in the set. Contacted the seller to discuss only to be told that it was my fault and I did not ask the right questions when purchased. Would not offer a refund or partial refund at the time.

contacted paypal whom chose not to dispute so went forward to my credit card company.

Next thing I know I am being harassed via electronic email and calls from the sellers place of employment asking personal financial questions. Oh yeah, seller also spammed me with **** mail.

Buyer beware..This was my experience with this individual...

Seller acknowledged the harassment in this post:
