Any Idea on ETA for the MY12 C204 Coupes? (2012 Coupe Ordering Guide on Page 2)
Hope that sheds some light for people anxiously waiting in the west coast .

Don't tell me it was electronics. I've heard of some MBs needing these $3k and $4k computers put in too. Electronics have probably been the biggest annoyance on my wife's Passat - soon to be replaced by a new C.

The cars I've owned in the past 20 years (VW, Hondas, Toyota, Mercury) all started having problems about the 105k mark and then went steadily and expensively downhill despite impeccable maintenance and my best efforts. I'm pretty much vowing to get rid of any car before 100k this time.

But the amount that I'm dumping into repairs right now is WAY more than I originally anticipated.
Thank God for the extended warranty which picked up another $2800 in repairs in the final two years I owned it. The early W203s and W211s were the cars that cost MB their worldwide engineering reputation and killed sales. MB canned their then CEO over all this.
All those warranty repairs made lots of money for the MB techs though but what with the reliable W221, W212 and our W204s, the bottom has dropped out the warranty repair orders and many techs have lost their jobs across the country.
My C300 has about one month of warranty left so is going in next week for a thorough check-over to see what might need doing as one last bite out of the warranty. No cost to me, of course.
I really love the look of the new C coupe.

+1!
