C250 Coupe of C350 Coupe
Hello from South Africa
I am currently seriously considering purchasing a C-Coupe but not sure if the C350 Coupe is worth the extra money compared to the C250 Coupe. Both vehicle will have the 7G-Tronic Gearbox, AMG Kit, Pan Roof, harmon Kardon, Navigation etc. The only thing I am not sure about is if the C350 is worth the extra $7000 (ZAR50000) or so more.
Any advice guys/girls out there?
thanks

Well, it depends. How difficult will it be for you to part with that money? If it will create a much harder financial situation, I would say you will very much enjoy the C250.
Now, as you cared enough to inquiry, you probably have some true passion or automobiles. If the upfront cost and weaker fuel economy are not impossible for your to overcome, the C350 you would likely find that much more enjoyable when on the accelerator.
It would be a tough decision. There are benefits to both vehicles. If I could, I would like to choose the 350 in the future.

If you are not sure, go with 250, unless you hate a turbo lag. Both engines are brand new, but 250 better matches the transmission. On 350 you would need to seriously downshift every time you want to take advantage. In other words, the extra expense would result in an obvious benefit, especially if you drive light and alone. However, if you plan to tow (?) or often have many people in the car or if it were 4Matic, or all you want is to beat the local speed records, or keep the car long passed 100,000 miles, then 350 may have an edge. I am sure many would disagree, so take this with a grain of salt

If you are considering C350 Coupe, why not to go for E350 Coupe? This review should help: C350 Coupe vs. E-350 Coupe. Gives the complete comparison of C350 Coupe against E350 Coupe, as well as against C250 Coupe...
