2010 C 300
I picked up a 2012 C350 coupe today.
MB asked me to participate in a test drive for six days and participate in an online feedback survey. Unlimited miles and free gas. In fact it is a 304 HP 3.5 L engine. Car appears to be loaded. Black metallic with black interior. According to dealer that MB had me pick the car up at this model is not available for 6-8 weeks in the US.
I just drove it 10-12 miles so not much time in it yet. First impression is very favorable. Very nice road feel, very nimble. Picked up my iPhone real easy, including Bluetooth music. Will post later.
Do not remember how to post pictures on this site.

the question I have is does it feel like 304 hp or does it feel like your old c300? there is some speculation on whether the new c350 is coming with the higher output motor or not

2010 C 300
I have a 120 page book from MB in German and English
That shows the C350 at 304 HP and the C250 at 204 with the four cylinder 1.8 turbo. My 2010 C300 has the Powerchip ecu mod so I am about 20-24 HP over stock. This car is much faster than my car. I have only driven it on surface streets in LA so far. I am anxious to open it up on the freeway and see how much increased torque helps.
Fit and finish are very good. Super nice leather seats. Street names show up on the navi system now. Will post more later of course.

Does it include that "dynamic handling" package? i.e. the sports mode button. If so, I'd interested to know how's your experience with it for cornering and stuff.

yes you are correct...horsepower is just a multiple of torque, but
if you compare tq and hp to water, torque would be how big the faucet is and hp would be how fast it flows...
if you compare tq and hp to electricity, torque would be the volts and hp would be that amps...

C350 Coupe
Again this coupe seems way faster than my car, but it is not a ral race car. I have spent a fair amount of time driving a 2011 CTS V. a 2009 STS V a 2009 Vette Z06 and a 2006 Ford GT. Obviously this car is nothing like that. It feels like a 300 HP motor with decent torque. Way more fun to drive than a C300 sedan. Having logged less than a hour I have not had a real chance to see what the real driving characteristics are. My wife and I will be taking it up California coast this weekend with the V1 on the visor.

LoL. I e-mailed my sales asking him to call me as soon as the first one arrives so that I can test drive. Even though I ordered one already. (Mine's probably 2nd shipment.)

I really want to see pics as well. Do you think it feels better built than the pre-facelift w204s?
There are a few options.
1. Easiest might be to go to www.tinypic.com and upload it one by one and copy and paste the image link to the thread here. The image link is the one that looks like
2. Create free photobucket account at www.photobucket.com and copy and paste the image links.
3. Attach the pics directly on this thread. When you go to advanced post you'll see an option to attach next to the smiley face buttom by the font size options. It's a little paper clip.
Hopefully that helps you out a bit.

Done thru MB corporate. Beverly Hills dealer just was used for delivery. Car is technically a prototype and has Michigan manufacturer plates.
Car does feel tighter than my car. Most importantly it feels more nimble and has a more positive road feel. Shifting seems more direct.
