2012 C350 Coupe (on order)
I wonder why command online is not touchscreen....
Was just thinking this the other day when test-driving the coupe. Is there some advantage to the knob over touchscreen?

My guess is safety. Since MB is big on safety, perhaps they agree that having someone going down the highway at 60mph and fiddling with a touch screen was not a good combination.
Also you'd have to reach pretty far to tap the screen IMO.
I personally like the knob method. At first I was like... blah. But after awhile I find it safer and very easy to use. Don't have to clean hte screen all the time either.
