2012 C350 Coupe
Condensation in Headlights
I just picked up my brand new C350 coupe from the dealer today, drove it home in the rain and parked it in the garage. Then to my astonishment I noticed condensation in both my headlights, is this normal?

Hate to see this happens on a new car, hope it is a easy fix... I'm picking up mine next week!

2012 GLK 350--AMG Package 20" Chromed Wheels, Loaded
I just took delivery of a 2012 GLK350 and I noticed that as well a couple of nights ago after driving home in the evening. Didn't really think much about it until now. I'll watch it and if it happens again, I'll take it in as it is probably just a bad seal.

2015 ML350 Black/Black
I just replaced light bulbs on new C350 headlights, both high and low beams. I could say for sure that design is not really hermetically weathersealed. Small rubber inside cap covering light bulbs only. High humidity and wet weather + temperature differences between outside and garage could produce some condensation.

Do you have the lighting package? My 325i has always had that problem even when new...it has regular halogens, not xenons. I was told it was normal. Of course, your car is different and it is 9 years later, so best to check with your dealer. You may also want to check with the sedan folks since there are more people there and the car has been around longer.

it has happened to the one of my lights as well.
what's weird is that through the rain and even snow in Europe, when I was driving my C250, the headlights never got condensation.
now, when it has come home to the US, the cold weather and humidity has caused condensation in the driver's side headlight. I'll pop the hood and see if there may be something loose. the condensation always seems to clear though.
