Anyone install an X-Pipe yet on 2012 Coupe.

Haven't taken delivery of car yet, but planning to do this mod.

Same specs as previous years/models for pipe diameter?

I have a spare magna flow from 2009 C300 if that works?

I just got a magnaflow xpipe installed on my C350c, its 2.25 in. Heres a picture of what it looks like down there.



I'm planning to do a quad exhaust, just need to find the diffuser and tips.

If you look, or search (not sure if its in c204 ofr w204 forums) there is a link to a deal on ebay for a listing for the 2012 c63 diffuser and 4 tips for a GREAT price. Check it out.

Yea, I saw that thread already, I'm looking for a CF one. But I'm sure that once I see the price for it, I'll end up getting that one. lol. I'm worried about getting it installed. The brackets needed and where to get it done.

Well, the brackets are easy to get - they are even cheap at the dealer @ their prices. It is VERY easy to install, I would say it is a DIY... But yeah, the CF ones are crazy. Especially since the 2012 is so new, expect $800 + JUST for the diffuser. Maybe even more in the early months...

I went to take a look at the diffuser. You're right, looks pretty easy except for one part, theres a rivet holding on the diffuser instead of a torx screw from the older diffuser design . It's kinda cramped getting anything in there to knock the rivet out and punch a new one in. Maybe you can take a look at your car and see how its holding together and give me some tips. I'm not real experienced with tools.

agreed, I want to hear a before/after with the x-pipe. If it's cheap enough, i'd consider it with my lease.

This is what it sounds like with stock exhaust, but having the resonator replaced with a magnaflow x-pipe, but keep in mind, this is a c300, not a c350. This is my old sedan
