Last week I posted a message looking for advice on putting 20's on my coupe. Thanks for all the advice and opinions. The original wheels that came on the car were the AMG wheels which are 18x8 in the front with Pirelli P Zero Nero 225/40/18, and 18x8.5 with 255/35/18 in the rear. I went with 20x8.5 and 235/30/20 Falken FK452's in the front and 20x8.5 in the rear with 255/30/20 Falken FK452's. This increased the diameter in the rear by an inch and just under an inch in the front which filled the wheel opening up nicely. I have not noticed any significant difference in ride quality in town or on the freeway.

but if I may be so bold... you need larger brake calipers and rotors now....those nice new 20" wheels demand it!
