Finally got my coupe!

So after a lot of going back and forth on prices and going to pick up a car only to find out it didn't have the right features. I finally got what I was looking for.

Irridium on Black & Burl Walnut trim. Loving it right now. P1, COMAND+Backup camera.

Things that I'm currently confused about are: the headlight operation, can you turn on JUST the LED strips on the bottom? Why are you able to turn on l/r parking lights individually? The windshield wiper controls, seriously why in the hell did they consolidate two stalks into one? Iphone 4 sync, I can't get my contacts transferred into the phonebook.

Other than that, I pretty much LOVE this car. Coming from a car that had 105 more HP, I can't drive this without the ECU setting on S. Heres hoping the fuel economy stays good.

Oh and congrats, you got the same color I have.... Since you came from a modded G, what are your plans for this car? Oh and my last fill up drive to empty gauge said I had 525 miles to go. LMAO I could barely get 230-250 out of full tank of gas in my G. I also drive with S on, minimizes the turbo lag. I can't wait for the turbo tunes to start coming in.

I wanted to get mars red but almost everyone talked me out of it Since my lease is only 2 years I don't plan on changing much. Tints, debadge, maybe paint the grille. Definitely no bolt ons. No wheels because I don't want to drop it. The ride on Mb is fantastic.

Like you said once the turbo tunes come out I'm doing that, as long as they're affordable. I refuse to pay more than $500 for an ECU remap. Renntech is probably going to cost a fortune so I'll wait until some cheaper companies tackle the job. I imagine +20hp and maybe +35tq. Id be happy with those figures.

You got anything planned?

Well I changed the lights all around already and got tints. I want some better wheels, OEM E 350/550 18in AMG wheels. My friend works at MB so I am trying to see if I can milk him for discounts (spoiler, wheels, OEM headlamps).

Also, I want a tune. Brabus 25S tune ups the HP & TQ to 240HP and 273TQ but at a price of $2995. There is a guy on the forum, Terry335i that tunes BMWs and he has a c250. He stated that he is working on an affordable tune for the C250, which is close to the Brabus HP & TQ #'s, I can't wait. That's about it.

I too leased for 2 years at a steal of a deal. I really like the C coupes, I may break lease early and get a loaded C350 coupe.

Yeah $3000 on a tune is retarded. If I had a Gti, I'd be able to squeeze out over 100 hp gains with that kind of money. Idk who in their right mind would spend such asinine amounts to tune a leased car.

Never knew that was an option. Just curious, what kind of penalties are involved?

I usually trade the car in to get another car, I never experienced a penalty. If my lease payoff is less than the "value" (trade-in) of the car, then I usually trade the car in after a year. If I owe like $30,xxx and the car is worth... lets say... $34,000 by next summer then I will trade the car in towards another car. I don't know how MB Financial leases work, but as long as you are able to the pay-off the lease, you should be ok. I was able to do this with my last 8 Infiniti's through Infiniti Financial. Since I did a two year lease and have a considerable amount of equity in the car (lease payoff vs. "value"), I am going to wait until summer to see what my lease pay-off vs. car's value and maybe trade up for the c350. It all depends.

2012 C250 Coupe
You can always get out of your lease early. There are two options one: sell or trade in the car and use the money towards the buyout (if your value is higher than your buyout, you profit, but this usually isn't the case). Or you can simply roll in the remaining monthly payments into your new financing.

However, mercedes often offers incentives to get you out of your lease early. Usually they will eat up to 4 months of your current MB lease if you get into another MB lease. When i just signed on my c250 coupe from my c300 I have now during the Winter Event they ate 8 monthly payments on my current lease!

I think Terry's tune is going to be the best option. If you go over to the BMS forums, the stock dyno itself is pretty good , with the tune, its way better . I am seriously considering getting a C250 coupe in the summer (dad just got a C250 sedan) and the tune is most certainly going on the car .
