Ok I guess it is the same. False alarm.

I really like white on most of the car, but the hood just looks so flat and dull on non C63 models. I find that the white colour makes the center line less visible.
In order to make the C63 hood stand out MB carried out a bit of a misjustice towards C250 and C350 hood.

I decided against tinting my tail lights but just sent side markers to be paint matched!
For the shifter issue, the dealer wanted $1,500 to replace. Me and my father fixed it for free, simply removed the broken part (since it would probably break again - design flaw). Only negative side is you can take the car out of park without your foot on the brake.
As for the strut issue, the dealer wanted $1,000 for the strut, $500 in labor to replace it, and you need a complete fluid drain from factory and rodeo each time for $200, brining it to $1,700 + tax for each one.
We found a OEM refurbished strut with a lifetime warranty for a steal compared to factory (I want to say like $300 or something...). Replace the strut ourselves for maybe 2 hours of labor, and didn't even need to flush the system. Everything was fine, so it was like $400 out the door after all parts and a little extra fluid for each strut replacement.
