Love the steering wheel. Thought the VW GTI had a great steering wheel but the c250 looks like it's in another class.

Did you open with key fob? That green emergency trunk release button was a surprising touch, I laughed when I first saw it.

yeah, I opened with the key fob. I too was pretty surprised the first time I noticed the green indicator light. I thought it was a lot smaller before I just went and took the video of it

Did you try the auto up windows by holding your finger on the door handle "lock nub" while all windows and panoramic roof is open?

And also the auto down windows by holding the unlock button on the fob while standing next to the driver door?

Nope, both of those features are news to me. I noticed the nub but thought it was probably just there in case one has the keyless go option to unlock the door. I'll have to give that a try

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought all 2012 coupes had keyless "access" with the door handle and that the "keyless-go" was a separate option just for the push start.

Ah...thank you again bshrode, much appreciate your effort and quick response

That feature is just awesome - hope it's standard on our vehicles too, I'll confirm this weekend

I checked the MB Brochure for the US C Classes and it states in the endnotes that:

"4 Sport Sedans and Coupes with Almond Beige/Mocha interior include a 3-spoke steering wheel without flat-bottom design or perforated side grips."

They are so new my CA didn't know about it and I didn't realize it until a few weeks after I picked it up. Not sure why MB did this, but they did. I did check the diameter of my round wheel at it is almost 14".

Can someone verify Kevin's comment? In order to lock/unlock the car by simply TOUCHING the door handle is that standard or part of the "Keyless Go" option?

correct, this is only with keyless go. If you don't get that, you must use the keyfob to lock/unlock doors and open trunk

Johnny as a sales rep you truly know the car...do you have any features that you would personally recommend? I'm doing the full leather seating package + iPhone intergration. I keep thinking maybe I'll update the Nav, or the wheels, or do keyless go but then I find myself being cheap and saying eh I don't *need* that.

keyless go and lighting package for sure. AMG wheels are great if you are leasing, but if you buy, get some nicer wheels. The nav is awesome. honestly, I say if you are leasing, get as much as you can since you are only paying the residualized cost of the options, not the full price.

The key-less go only locks/unlocks by touching the handle. But the express window and sunroof (well, pano in the coupe case, but also works for sunroof on sedans) via keyfob is standard on all vehicles.

If you look at the driver door handle, there is a small black rectangle near the manual keyhole. Simply point the keyfob (within close vicinty) at the black rectangle while holding the lock/unlock button for express open and close of all windows.

Holding the unlock button opens all windows and panoramic/sunroof, holding the lock button closes them. You must hold it for the entire time or else it stops mid process. This means that you can also only hold it for a second to just crack the windows.

This feature is also most useful for when you have your windows down or left your sunroof up and have already gotten out of the car. Just point and hold lock for a few seconds and your good to go.

it will close the windows with the keyless go as well. Lock the car by touching the indented square, then release and touch and hold again. will close windows, roof, and sunshade cover over pano roof.

If you have a car with ventilated seats, when you unlock and vent the windows/roof, it will also turn on the ventilated seat, pretty cool feature! I got to try it out on my dads 2012 CLS.

Yup, this is correct. Also, if your car is a convertible (like my dad's SL) it ALSO puts down the hardtop - how cool!
