2012 C250 Coupe
Hello all,
I am new to the forum and this is my very first post. I must say this is a great resource.
I am considering a C350 coupe and was wondering the age of people buying this car? I am 42 and was wondering if the car is age appropriate or am I a bit too old and whether an E350 coupe would be better?
Also, it seems very hard to find the C350 coupe. Are you aware if MB will be increasing production in the near future?
Thanks

I would say the C250 Coupe is more entry level for younger people, 22-28, even recent college grads who want to say that they have a Mercedes. The C350 Coupe would be closer to those who have been in the work force for a while and earning a stable salary and want to upgrade from the C250 to something more powerful, say 28-34? I owned a CLK320 for about 5 years and then got married, have two kids, been in my job for 10 years and upgraded to a E350 Coupe, a whole other level up from the entry level C class. Of course, what you drive and want to drive is your business. Honestly, if I was 42 and had no kids and just me and my wife, I would prob go with the C350 Coupe. But for me, the kids made the difference. I am turning 39 in Feb 2013.

29 here with a C250 coupe. I came from an '08 G37 coupe. While the benz doesn't compare performance wise, it makes up for it in comfort, tech, space, and fuel economy. I had actually put a deposit down on another '12 G37 coupe, but changed my mind due to the bigger trunk in the benz, the more updated user interface, and fuel economy.

'13 C250 coupe & Porsche 911
56 here. My children are grown so I don't need the back seat room (besides, my wife drives a 4-door). My "garage queen" other car is also a coupe - an old 911!
I really like the I-4 turbo motor because of all the highway driving I do. Great economy at steady speeds, and boost when you want it. I had a Saab 900SE turbo (that I really miss) that convinced me that small engines with big turbos was a good idea.
Btw, my previously daily driver was a 2007 C230 sport with some mods.

How old am I ?
Bought my first MB in 1971--280SL. Now on my 32nd MB. A 2013 C250 COUPE. Traded my 2012 E350 Sport for it. Much more fun to drive. When necessary can drive wife's 2013 GLK350. Have owned many high performance cars. Also was a Rally car driver yrs ago (Datsun 510). Always been a car nut. Have owned more than 125 cars over the years. I have been blessed with good health so I am still going strong. O yes. Almost forgot. 83 yrs old.
