Yeah, not sure if that comes with the brackets though (or if they are still needed on 2012). But I know on the pre-facelift w204, to install a c63 diffuser, you would need the C63 brackets (which are longer) to mount and support the diffuser.

I messaged them about the brackets, he said that its not included, but "the diffuser clips into place"

I just gave them a call and they said that the tips say AMG on them and the diffuser clips inplace without the need for any brackets. Sound like a steal for that price

I too want to look into this for my upcoming C250 not wanting to copy or replicate a C63 but because I'm not at all happy with the finish/look of the single tail pipe exhaust, either twin or quad looks so much better

Same here. By the time my car comes I will know if this is as easy of an install as it sounds. Question: How do you add 2 tips to one exhaust? What piece do you need to do that? I tried searching online for "exhaust tip splitter" but couldn't find anything.

One thing I am not a fan of in that ebay posting is that they seem to use two different cars to show you before and after which is flaky. Before car seems to be a C250 while the After looks to be a genuine C63 as far as I can tell.

Nope, its legit, thats not a real C63 in the second picture, because they only made the ones with the black rims and black spoiler with the parktronic package (circles on the rear bumper). They simply just added a diffuser and the black spoiler. Plus, the exhaust tips aren't identical to the angles of the c63 exhaust as far as alignment.

I've also recently ordered a C63 coupe diffuser but a genuine OEM item.
I've still to determine however exactly what I'll be using for the exhaust and tips, I'm leaning towards the idea of leaving the exhaust system alone as much as possible as the more I learn and discover about them, the more I don't want touch and mess about with the OEM tune, settings, censors etc. and just get a neat dual or quad tips look on the rear of the car

It is a fairly easy DIY. Although I have heard that the 2012 diffusers are now held in with one rivet in the center, instead of a torx screw like prior 2008-2011 models (aside from the slew of clips). For this reason, unless you have a drill or a riveter, i tis probably best to bring it somewhere to get it done.
Of course, my information could also be inaccurate as I haven't yet gotten under there to look for myself yet. So who knows.
I don't see any brackets in the picture. I know on pre-2012 models a "c63 bracket" was needed to install the diffuser on non ///AMG vehicles. This is because it is a big "thicker" and the old bracket isn't long enough.
However, you really don't NEED to install the bracket (which uses the torx/rivet). It is just extra security measures.
