How to activate or deactivate lock sound
From your Menu select setup. Under Instrument Cluster select Vehicle. At the auto door lock screen press the down arrow and you will see Acoustic Lock screen. Press OK to enable or disable the sound.
Believe it or not the dealer was going to make me drive over an hour to come into the shop for them to do this. They did not give me instructions over the phone. I went to my car and figured it out on my own. Took me all of 4 minutes.

People who honk their horn when they lock their doors are NPC’s
people who have to honk a car horn every time they lock and unlock their car are retarded. It’s 3am and I am awake right now because some NPC parks next to my house and honks his horn every night when he gets home from work. I have a nice older car and all my life I’ve been locking the doors from the switch on the door. It’s so hard and inconvenient to do that I just don’t know how i get by. Do a light flash we don’t need to hear horns honking all the damn time. It’s not something you can block out like road traffic.

The newer cars do not blow the horn but chirp.....done by using a piezo unit, usually located behind the right front wheel area. Mine is so low that when it works, I can;t hear it from 25 feet away making it useless if inside my home to verify I locked my car. This is why I'd like more volume and not to bother my neighbors!!
