2012 Mercedes C250 Coupe 1.8l turbo - trouble starting but runs fine

Having trouble starting the car... sometimes. Before I was getting the P0340 code. Replaced camshaft position sensor. Helped somewhat but still has trouble starting. Sometimes tries to start (with deisel sound from engine and then give up after about 3 seconds). But runs perfect once started and the 'deisel sound' stops.

Thought cleaning the MAF sensors and throttle body may help. When I took off the piping noticed a lot of dirt in the turbo intake pipeline. More importanly when I took off the throttle body noticed some oil pooling in the turbo intake to the throttle body. Also put my finger in the throttle body intake and oil was pooling there too.

Is this normal? I just clean everything best I can, put things back together and hope for the best?
