Is really perfect? Because I see a few mm in the upper part... Or is my impression... Can you post some photo of details?

I'm pretty sure the actual C63 grille doesn't have the top chrome part attached to the grille itself. It is a separate piece and is stuck to the bonnet.

But the aftermarket grilles are one piece and therefore the fitment will never be as good as the C63 original grille.

The SL style grille on the other hand shouldn't have this issue.

Sure it is! Two pieces for the real c63 Amg! The hood is not the same too.

I though that you knew that...

I ordered mine from Superstyling in the Netherlands. I had parts from him on my 190 so i know that it's quality.

I asked him about the distronic star. He is customising my grill to have a distronic star.

Installed the grill yesterday. I read that the coupe grill was hard to get the bottom grill pins to release from the bumper. So i gave it some hard pushes. The rest of the grill removal is easy!

Grill fits perfect. I had it customised with a Distronic star instead of a star with 3 holes in it. The distronic eye is sensitive so i had to have a closed star.

Now that's pretty good fitment! Even though it is fairly obvious from the photos, can you please confirm that there is no gap between the bonnet and the top part of the grille like some of the guys in this thread have reported?

Thanks for putting up the photos, I really like it!

Thanks for posting this. I ordered mine today. Hope it fits as well as yours does. I'll post pictures once I get into place.

Hi, I just ordered this grill today for my sport plus that arrived today....
Before

After

LOVE the look of the look of the grill but I can't get the lower clips to stay in below merc star (see pic below, can just make it out) anyone else had this problem, or any tips?

The Distronic star is a target for rock chips. You may want to put the 3M clear bra on it.

I just put a finger in every opening in the grill with my fingers and pull it forward while pushing the bumper backward with my knee.

The OEM AMG grille has a two-piece chrome frame, unfortunately it will not fit on non-AMG models.
I want the AMG grille but the aftermarket ones have that gap above the top of the frame really bugs me and it's more noticeable on lighter colored cars.

I recently found an aftermarket AMG grille that has a two-piece frame chrome that should fit better to the front edge of the hood which I am considering:

My only gripe is that black parts are glossy instead of matte.

Has anyone tried a grille like this, does it fit neat? If the grille doesn't fit flush with the bonnet that would be a pain

I took the dive and purchased the two piece grille, as it was on sale and the seller is in Canada whom I've purchased from before:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=360492232067

I purchased the matte black grille as the other one with the chrome trim had glossy black parts which doesn't look OEM and looks kind of cheap.
I plan to paint the fin and badge surround in body color silver to look like some of the newer MB models -- not sure if I want to paint the frame silver as well.

I will let you know how it turns out.

I'm dead keen to see pictures of your grille after it has been painted as installed. I too wanted to paint the fin and badge surround in silver/matte silver.

I'm also very interested for a report and photos of how the grille fits etc. I think the flat black would look great with the white/black exterior of my 350, particularly with the flat black 19" wheels coming.

I just ordered the grille from CKS. I prefer no chrome edge around the outside of the grille. I'll report how it fits etc. once it is installed.
