Matte C250

I love the color on the C250 sport that was posted a couple of days ago (see picture below). Can this be special ordered? At the dealership near my house, I was able to see this color in person on a C63. I would consider a wrap for the car but I would think that the quality of the wrap will never be as good as what it came painted from the factory. In addition, I find that it could even look cheap if it was wrapped. Any one have pictures of a C250 that was wrapped in the same color?

Out of curiosity what is the colour ??

Looks like the existing silver to me ??

It is good to see some designo offers for the C Class variants below the C63 at least, in Australia and up until now they don't let you option up with designo options on a C Class unless it's a C63

I saw a matte black C Coupe (not AMG) in the dealership when they launched the C Coupes a few months ago. It looked great and distinctive.

I did some research of these matte colors and it turned out they were extremely hard to maintain. With regular paint, you can correct small imperfections using wax, polish and compound.

if a wrap is done right, it looks great. Just make sure if you wrap it it's a reputable company, do some research. It's not cheap, but cheaper than ordering the paintjob from MB and it's reversible.

The 3m matte laminate is possible to do by itself, if you know a good installer. Don't let them tell you you have to use the thick stuff!

+1. There are tons and tons of cars wrapped here, a lot of them look so good that you don't even know it until you get right next to it.

Post pictures of good quality wraps on a c class or any other mercedes. Does anyone know the color of the picture I posted and what wrap color/type is the closest to that car?

C350 Coupe 2012 (C204)
just please don't wrap your coupe into this.

On the side it says "Supercar only imaginable" where the black vinyl stripe is on the side

The picture's not mine. It's from a popular car forum in my area.

Just looks like the existing silver in matt finish to me

Personally I don't see what all the attraction is with matt duco finishes, in my eyes it makes the car look like an old worn out vehicle with faded paint I like all my cars polished and shiny

As mentioned by others maintanance of the matt finish can also be a prob.

Oh well a case of each to their own I suppose
