interior color. the only color that does not have it is if you get the tan interior. any other interior with the black dash/wheel gets the flat bottom.

They figure that usually older people get the tan interior so if they saw the flat bottom wheel they would say, "what in the name of lord is this oddity?!"

actually, the sports package gives u the flat bottom steering wheel, if you dont get the sports package, you dont get the steering wheel, i seen a black on black coupe that only had navi so , no flat bottom on that one

Here in Australia, optioning with the AMG sport package provides you with the flat bottom steering wheel, the main reason for it is entry/exit clearance, but the steering wheel also moves up and out of the way when you exit the vehicle anyway and then returns back to default position when you start up again, so even with the fully rounded version you will still have plenty of clearance![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I'm not sure however if the above feature in standard, someone can confirm that one, I have it on my C250 which comes with the comfort access package
