I installed my intake earlier tonight and took it for a quick spin. I thought I'd give you guys my review.
First, the fit and finish of the product is excellent. It comes with a short piece of pipe, filter, and hose clamp. It did not come with any instructions.
If you know your way around the engine at all, this is a very easy install even without instructions. You only need a T20 torx and a flat screw driver. Took me about five minutes to take out the stock filter box and put the new intake in.
When I turned the car on, there is not much difference from stock. After I gave it some throttle, the turbo sucking air in is noticeable, but not overly loud. When I let off, you can hear air blow off, but again not real aggressive.
Performance change seems minor, but increased throttle response seemed evident. As for horse power, I have a tough time feeling a significant difference.
All in all, I'm very happy with the value of the product. If you want to see slight throttle response increase and make your car sound a bit more aggressive but not over the top, I highly recommend this.

More feedback on the intake and tune. I now have my tune at 75-80% notch and have not experienced Over Boost CEL, so I think this is a great setting. My MPG has slightly reduced around town (probably because I drive like a maniac now). However, my MPG on the highway has significantly improved (set cruise control at about 62mph). And I did hit a bit of traffic in the interim, so hopefully I can improve this a bit. Its about 2 miles from my house to the highway, and 2 miles from the highway to my workplace.

I agree... I too had a hard time sliding in the pipe, it would go in sideways, but not straight too easily, needed some TLC. I don't know what the tune itself felt like, but I sure do LOVE the sound with the new intake. Not only can you hear the turbo wind up and blow off more when shifting or revving, but I also noticed under hard acceleration, when you lift off you get a nice Need for Speed style blowoff that sounds like a shot of NOS almost.

Drove my car back to back with and without the intake and there is a definite increase in sound, throttle response, and a very slight increase in power.

Alright well I installed the intake today. That pipe did not want to go in the tubing at all, I wrestled it in there for 10 minutes. My first impression is that the throttle response is much nicer now. As compared to having just the JB+ with no intake, yes this thing makes a difference. The sound is also nicer, though I don't know if I want to attract attention to my car but I do like the slight "whoosh" sound you get when you let off the throttle.
I also put the JB up to 85% and I must say, now were cooking with gas! IDK how bad it is for the engine but I gotta say it makes that initial stab at the go pedal much much more rewarding. All in all I would certainly recommend these mods to anyone with a C250, it's really a no-brainer.

I was really disappointed with the quality of the fitment, mine did not even come close to fitting, I got 3 other larger friends of mine to try as well, and it will just not fit
I have taken the piece to a machine shop to get it on a lathe.

NO! You have to drive the car and let the tube heat up in order to fit it inside. If they're all standard machined then it should fit just as it did in everyone elses car.

Now on to the intake itself. It looks like the OEM piping from the filter to engine/turbo can also be modified. I don't know if it will improve performance but I am defintitely going to get one of my shops to see if they can fabricate the piping to the maf sensor. The sound will be awesome, especially coming from metal tubing rather than the OEM plastic tubing.

Now I on the other hand, had a different problem. I turned the JB+ up to about 85% and the performance was good, but the idle was rough. The car was vibrating slightly at idle, and at startup. The throttle was a bit too rough, so today I turned it back to 80% and it seems to have fixed the issue.
BTW for everyone with intake installed, are you getting a "blow-off" like noise every time you press the gas?

I agree on that. Any higher than the 75-85% range and you get the limp mode quite often (especially the way I drive). However, my CEL doesn't go on when I get this, but you can clearly tell it is in the limp mode. Does your CEL come on when you get the limp mode?
Also, why did you get all that piping? Is the stock piping not good enough?

I do not consistently get 40mpg. I have been through 3 tanks now with the tune and intake, and I will say that the highway MPG has improved versus non tune and intake. I commonly average about 37-38mpg. Before I average around 33-34 on the highway without the intake and tune.
