has anyone with a c250 coupe replaced their exhaust with a stock c300 or c350 dual?
is this a direct bolt on? and will turbo back pressure be a problem? and will i lose power?
i prefer the symmetric look of a dual muffler system and like the stock look. i also understand i need to change the valance as well to accommodate the dual pipes.
thanks in advance for any input.

Putting $1000 plus trying to make a 250 look like something its not is a waste and will probably make your car slower than it already is. Whats next some phony AMG badges? You should have put that money toward a real 350.

Try and get some baseline dyno numbers before and then one after. You can be the guinea pig

2012 C250 Coupe
Nope, will not be able to be plug and play for the simple fact that we only have 1 cat and 1 exhaust run from the engine. The OEM C300/C350 exhaust has two cats and a dual in/dual out resonator. You're better off doing what I did with quad exhaust - you can find it on a quick search, but just get a C350 diffuser and only do dual exhaust tips. There is actually a recent thread about Dual exhaust on the C250 a bit further down. I posted pictures of my setup and how you could convert it into a dual exhaust setup.

I can agree with 'one point' about what your saying ie. I too do not want to simulate or look like another variant whilst trying to achieve that balanced look we're on about hence the struggle to find something appropriate.
Cost of the vehicle should not even come into it as in different markets it varies considerably, here in Australia these vehicles cost 2 to 3 times what you pay in the U.S so for some a C350 may not be an affordable option over a C180 or C250.
O.T. Hate to rain on your personal choice but in my own personal case regardless of cost I chose the C250CDI over every other variant as the preferred optimum daily driver choice, sorry but IMHO the C350CGI Coupe didn't even compare in this regard pity about the single tail tip, but I'll fix that eventually
