Anyone know how to change D1S bulb w/lighting package
Has anyone installed new D1S bulbs in their Coupes with Lighting Package? I wanted to install new D1S 6000k bulbs in my C350 4matic but I don't see any clips to remove bulb like in my 09 C350 Sport. I don't want to force it so hopefully someone out there can shed some light on my situation...(no pun intended) Thank you in advance...

Hi there, I don't have a Coupe, but I have the lighting package on my '12 Sedan.
Changing HID lamps is similar to changing it on the pre-facelift, but a bit different. When i changed mine, I recall simply putting them in at the right angle and turning it a few degrees, and it just sits there. No clips, I believe.
You may run into room issues depending on how thick the lamp is.

If you look at the receptacle, there are little tabs where the bulb will not go in unless you align the holes - I hope I explained that correctly.
Unlike our pre-facelift, there are no pins holding the bulb down.
