Greetings all,
I have been a proud owner of a 2012 C250 coupe (Black/Black, Navi, AMG Wheels, Agility Pkg) for a little over a year now. I've been a little late to joining the forums because I really didn't have any intentions of modding this car, but, I'm starting to get the bug again. I'm pleased to see what some of you guys have done already.
So far, I have been pretty pleased with the car. Smooth ride, "quicker" than I thought it would be, and pretty decent gas mileage. I just have a few minor complaints/annoiances.
1. My car is equipped with the HD radio, and it constantly switches between the non HD and HD station. It's like listening to a CD that's skipping. Sometimes, it's not so bad some times it's horrible. I know there's a way to turn off the HD function, but it turns itself back on when I restart the car, and even when I change stations.
2. Two of my speakers rattle, the front driver's side (tweeter) is constant, and the rear passenger side is intermittent.
3. The "holes" for the front seatbelts in the pillars whistle with the windows down. This can be especially annoying at higher speeds.
4. Can only download music from an audio CD. Lame, lol.
Other than that, I'm pretty happy. I've found a few nice little tricks from perusing this site already. The "hold" feature, accessing the engineering menu. BTW, is there an option in the engineering menu to completely disable the HD radio? I am bringing my car to the dealer for schedule A service on Friday, and will address the radio, and speaker issues with them. I was just curious if anyone else is experiencing any of this?
