Exterior mirrors adapting when in reverse

Hey guys quick question. I have the 2013 C 350 coupe. I was wondering when you put the car in reverse shouldn't the exterior mirrors tilt so that I can have a better line of sight when reversing ?

Yes, the passenger side mirror will tilt downward but you will need to slide your mirror switch to the opposite side to have this function.

Basically i pressed the right side mirror function before i reversed, and when i placed the car into reverse nothing happened.... i find this very odd... so i decided to press left side mirror function and still nothing happens...when i go into service i will ask them.

Did you tilt the mirror down in the first place? You got to adjust the mirror tilt down at reverse gear. Do remember to set the mirror at right side all the time else it wont work. Try it!!

All sorted well done

I absolutely love this feature, I've been adjusting the passenger side rear view mirror every time I reverse parked all my other cars I've ever owned to safeguard from damaging the rims for years, in this vehicle it does it for me automatically, bloody awesome

i absolutely love this feature, i am not saying i am a bad driver or what not but it just makes reversing into spots or into my garage a hell of lot easier IMO.

I love this feature too. Even my 2001 3-series has that feature, I thought it was a brand new feature but my coworker told me her 199x BMW already has that feature. Lol
