Aftermarket Exhaust Fart Upon Upshift
Anyone know why the C250 has an exhaust "fart" upon upshifting when stepping on it? I noticed the CLA 45 AMG has it also. I don't think the C250 stock exhaust had it.

All 250s seem to be going that way
It's most audible on the C250 Sport Coupe.
I don't think it's the exhaust - or at least the tail end of the exhaust.
It's more of an engine thing on the upchange - like a DSG noise VW style.
I'm sure someone more technical than me can explain it but I'm sure you can't get the effect by just changing your exhaust - at least not from the cat back.

That is an inherent noise all C250's make due to the turbo when upshifting and it's comparable to the sound of DSG VW's, as previously mentioned. An aftermarket exhaust would amplify the sound, however. Btw, good to know that our car shifts like a VW DSG even though ours don't even have dual clutch.
