What Country/market are you in ??

In Australia or the U.K the adaptive/dynamic dampers are part of the 'AMG package' option BUT NOT the 'AMG sport plus package' option - the 'AMG sport plus package' has fixed rate dampers.

If you don't have either it'll also be standard dampers.

In the U.S AFAIK the adaptive/dynamic dampers are part of the 'dynamic handling package' but someone from the U.S will have to confirm that.

You can use lowering springs on any of the standard dampers, but if you want a complete result it is recommended to always match dampers to lowered springs anyway, if not the lifespan and operation of the original dampers is compromised.

Sport mode button activates the adaptive dampers as well as steering and transmission operational changes - does yours have the sport button ??

Also as suggested on the C250 build thread, you can chase up all the technical info you need by getting a VIN read out of your vehicle, that way you'll know everything about it

Yes the sport button will still activate the altered sport steering and trans modes even if you don't have the adaptive dampers

See if you get the chance to verify your VIN.

Also another feature of the AMG adaptive dampers compared to stock OEM is a slightly lower ride height, but the AMG sport plus package with fixed rate dampers also has the same lowered ride height.

If your in the U.S it'll only be either of the first 2, not the sport plus package.

What website can one go to to insert their VIN number in order to verify the packages?

-----
Also, U.S. does have Sports Package Plus available; i have it on my car. Maybe it started being available for MY13.

You should be ok adding H&R or EIBACH
Springs. I am running the EIBACH pro-kit.

There are alot of VIN check internet sites you could refer to, sorry I don't have links but if you do a quick search many will come up, some offer a proper full service with a fee (usually less than $10) but there are others totally free.

I havn't used any of them because as per my advice on this subject, it's easier to just consult your dealer and get them to give you a full print out of your vehicles VIN information

You could also refer to the long running VIN check thread in the W204 section of the forum, I've seen many people write up their VIN there and others who have access to the info have noted it all down for them in response - maybe give that a try also

~ i did switch to a 5mm rear pad... thus providing even spacing front to rear.

Andrew - Is your drop even? I had eibachs on other cars of mine and the rear was always lower than the front. I am undecided with the H&R or Eibachs on the C coupe. Also, I do not want the rake look.

car looks great....i just fitted some 19x8.5 ET42 and 19x9.5 ET52 with 235/35/19 and 265/30/19..i love them..but man the front tires seem pretty close to the spring perch in front...how close are yours ??? i know that when the wheel travels so does the perch so its almost impossable for it to actually come into contact..but i wanna lower it in the near future and am wondering if it will make it even closer..it should never hit it just because of suspension geometry,,, just curious how close your inner sidewall is to the spring perch on the strut thanx

i can post a few pics 2marrow...my other concern are my tires..i usually went with yokohama s drives which had a curved sidewall...this time i decided to try the michelin pilot super sports and they have a squared off sidewall which also could be a factor..but im thinkin it will still be ok...the wheels im running are mandrus stuttgart...which is a company that makes wheels exclusively for mercedes only..and are hubcentric as well..i just dont wanna lower it and then realize its rubbing and have do undo everything...
